I wouldn't recomend it, but the worst thing is that it won't ride very good. As long as you cut them so that they are stable in the spring perches. But these days, springs are so cheap...not worth cutting, it's the kinda the "ghetto" thing to do.

If you want the GC, just get them and don't waste your time cutting the eibachs.

About having more wheel gap up front...there's usually a bit more gap up front on every car so the tire has more clearance when turning. That's why a lot of people use GC or other adjustable setups so they can even out the gap.

Personally, I have koni shocks with lower perches, and just used one lower perch up front to even out the gap a bit.
