I am 17 and I have paid for everything on my car. including the car, insurance (fukin expensive $$$), and all mods. My tastes are growing toward nicer things, and the projectors are gone soon for some ctrs. the wheels will change once the rubber runs out. probably some volk te37's if I work enough this summer to pay for them. but ya, as for you that have parents that buy your cars, you are lucky bishes and need to not take it for granted. I worked my ass off and some of you have way nicer cars just for being born to nice parents.
