I was driving yesterday in 4th gear at like 2000 rpm. I went to give it a little gas and my car sort of like choked alittle. I tried agiain and the same thing happened. Then my car all of a sudden shut off. So I pulled over and got it towed. I took off the valve cover becasue I thought the timing belt might have snapped, but it looked fine. My mechanic took a look at it, and he said a common problem with these cars is the ingintion coil. He tood off my distributor cap and sure enough, it was cracked. So he replaced the coil, cap, and rotor and it seemed to be fine. But on the way home it happened again. I was giving it a little gas and it sort of choked out and stalled. So I started it back up and drove it back to my mechanic. He took it for a spin this morning, and it happened to him. He thinks it is a fuel problem, but he couldn't find anything wrong today. My car is going to be sitting at his shop until tuesday when he is doing the t-belt wand water pump. Anyone have any idea of what this can be? THe only thing I did recently to my car is the fields sfc, but I have all the fuel settings at 0. So I dont think that is the problem. Thanks for any help
