Ok, here goes. I got a call this morning at around 8:10am from the Union City police saying that they found my car and it still looked driveable so I could pick it up. I was thinking, gee, how nice, the thieves probably gave me a set of janky steelies or space saver spares. But when I got there and met up with the officer, the car looked more or less intact. The only things missing were the deck, the cd changer, some miscellaneous things (like my CDs obviously, cell phone charger and ear piece, etc). Funny thing was that after my car was stolen, I was joking with some friends about how I had an unopened bag of BBQ chips in my car that I really wanted to eat...and they actually took that too! :madfawk: Other damage includes cut stereo wiring harness and a totally demolished rear speaker cover. They didn't take my speakers though. I guess they thought they were crap. :happysad: There are a few other little issues but now I'm nit-picking. I guess the only thing that you should worry about seeing for sale that's stolen are a Sony deck and changer. I just need to say thanks to everyone for looking out.

Some questions though...
-I noticed they took my 1.5 year old Holiday Jackball. Something seems fishy about that fact... Perhaps, they know my car enough to know that it's known to have the jackball. Perhaps it was just to keep anyone from recognizing it too fast even if they didn't really know my car. Or maybe they just wanted a souvenir...who knows...
-My ignition switch seemed untouched. The theif knew how to hotwire the car or something. Without going into specifics in the forums, does anyone know if it's really that easy to start a civic without the keys?
