Well, I was going to post the situation yesterday, but this makes me glad I didn't. Here goes:

The local Acura dealer (Antonino Acura in Groton, CT) has been trying to get me to work there for months. I bring in all my friends & whoever I can to buy cars. They give me some of the best service that anyone I've spoken with has received. I told them I didn't want to be in sales, it was inconsistant, etc.

Well, I realized that I've got a LOT of bills. I hate my job anyway, so I put in my two weeks yesterday. I'm slated to start @ the dealer on June 2nd. No big deal, my last day is May 30th.

I called out today, because well, who cares? I got a phone call at 11:45 this morning, letting me know they were going to move forward with my resignation in the best interests of the business.

I just got a free vacation :thumbup: I got my paycheck from Thursday early, and two weeks from this thursday, I get paid again. For yesterday, today & my 7 days of vacation time I had left.

Just wanted to vent (and if anyone in CT/RI/MA wants a car, let me know. I'll make that happen for as cheap as I can)
