the 5th gen, '95-97 2.7L V6s were slower than the 2.2L VTEC I-4 5spd EX models.
the '98-02 V6 AUTOs were faster than any I-4s built previous, but not by much. the 5spd I-4 is quicker on the launch but after 30mph the V6 takes over.
as for the '03 Accord, there is no way a 160hp DOHC I-4 can compete against a 240hp SOHC V6, AUTO or stick
