did you try spraying some lube or som WD-40 on the at peice (the door check is what its called by the way) that may help loosen it up a bit. As for the buzz at 2300 there is an intermediate pipe between the a-pipe and the cat, Honda makes a kit that has two donuts four springs and four bolts that update the ones on the pipe to a different compound that eliminates the buzz. Before you go that route check all of you heat sheilds make sure they arent loose especially the cat.:thumbup:
