i never ever thought i would hear myself say this... but... my car is gone.

not stolen, but destroyed.

at ~10:40pm est, i crawled out of my civic which was upside-down. im perfectly fine, except a bit sore and shaken up. i was not wearing a seatbelt either. i probably could have been killed... i wasnt under the effects of drugs or alcohol.

so im coming around this wide corner just above the speed limit, i live no more than half a mile away from home, and i take this road all the time and im usually travelling much faster... im not really sure how it happened either. i know there was nothing loose on my suspension since clayton and i made sure it was all tight. it was such a nice ride too.

there was dirt on the road for some reason, probably from the nearby construction. im guessing thats all it took for my car to swerve... im entirely too lucky what side of the road i went off of, the opposite side, was a drop... so i landed in a ditch in a slide. the front end planted and the hatch came up and i flipped over frontwards, then kinda corkscrewed and rolled over a street and finally came to rest on an embankment.

my car was still running, so i shut it off, killed the lights and etc, then crawled out the passenger side rear window. now i landed on my back, nearly parallel to the car with my head pointing toward the front. dont ask me how either, cause i cant tell ya.

well the car looks like hell. since im buddy buddy with the local cops, they are gonna let me "strip" my car at the yard before the insurance people see it....

i guess ill be looking at a new car monday, theres a sweet 94 dx coupe down the street for 2500, or i could buy that lexus i want. we will see... if i can stop crying i might get some sleep.
