more power to you. i'm in the same boat, just fubared valves on 2 cyl. on my ls, i just did a motor swap for a used jdm b18b since it was about 1000.00 less than building my ls on my own doing all labor, i got a used jdm with under 50,000 miles for 850.00 and dropped it in myself, i wanted to do a type r or gsr but since i'm in the same boat as you and about to walk down the isle my budget couldn't swing it either. good luck and let me know how it goes
