as for u all referring my taste and a lot of other peoples' tastes to tfntf...shut the hell up! rice DID exist before that movie came out!!
yeah so rice existed before that movie came out...now rice is mainstream. so what? almost every car around here has no mods but all the kids put on yellow wiper blades and paint their interiors yellow and think they're the sh*t. it's trendy and all for show. i don't really care when rice came out, it's ugly and a waste of money. of course that's just the opinion of this board. we could be wrong. maybe all the chrome, painted parts, wings, altezzas are great and we're just too stubborn to see it.

stop comparing my taste and everyone else who has altezzas to tfntf...the people who saw that movie and ran to the nearest auto zone, advanced auto parts or pep boys to get APC exhausts and altezzas are the people who have like 91 chevy caveliers or neons and such...NOT ME!
yeah there's altezzas on every car make now, even suv's and pickups, and they look awful on every car. but why can't i compare this movement to F&F? that movie was all show cars, and most of the kids try to make theirs look like that. it just so happens that a lot of the kids who are influenced by that don't have the money to have new cars, so they do with what they have. and the results are sadly riced out old imports and domestics. it's still part of the same "show" car movement.

u guys are so sterotypical its unbelievable!
absolutely. probably because we express opinions. we like what we like, and don't expect ricers to like it. i'd much rather be stereotyped as someone who sees performance gains from mods than someone who throws money into wings and stickers to make my car look fast.
