Update -

Took the car to the dealer, and surprise.......they didnt find anything.

So I took the car home and pulled off the intake tube: to my surprise, there doesnt seem to be much carbon build up at all. The throttle butterfly is actually the brass/gold color it was when it was new. So Im not sure throttle body cleaner will help, but Ill give it a try anyway.

I poured some fuel injector cleaner in last night, see if that helps.

Air filter is brand new, so its not that. As far as distrib cap and rotor, it looks like Honda started direct ignition on the Accord in 2000, because I dont have any distrib/plug wires.........just a square plastic box mounted on each spark plug with wires going to it, which I assume is an ignition coil. None of them were loose, and I didnt want to start removing them to check out the spark plugs.

Right now Im at a loss............short of something being clogged (converter or intake plumbing), I dont know what it could be. Ill probably get a can of Seafoam and try it over the weekend, but Im not very hopeful.

Thanks for all the help!!! Maybe the problem will just fix itself.
