i thought you were going to say that YOU grew up in those areas....

there is crime in other places besides s. central LA. i used to live in one of the roughest areas in milwaukee too. I was jumped by three guys about a half mile from my house, they took my free cell phone, bus pass, and all of the seven dollars i had:roll eyes:. A man was shot to death on the very bus stop that i waited on everyday to go to work. my point is that there are areas like south central in every metropolitan city, just not as large scale.
