Okay you tards, the Y7 is just like the Y8 except for the intake manfiold and VTEC head. Other than that, they're probably the same damn motor. I have approx 200whp on my car running 8psi of boost with the Greddy kit, FMIC, and exhaust. Now that I have fuel mods, there's no telling what I can lay down on the dyno. I've been running this setup for almost 2 years now with no problems.
I also know a guy who pushed 302whp and 256ft/lbs with a D16Y8 and stock internals. He just used an aftermarket head gasket. These motors are stronger than everyone thinks, so give the "do a swap" routine a break. You can spend $4k on a swap and I'll spend $2k on a turbo kit and own your ass.
