Hi ashzero,

Your accord looks good! I like it very much, espeically the trubo!

I have a few questions if you dont mine me asking..

-Have you done a dyno test on it? OR is it in breaking in period for now?
-If you have, what are your numbers? Can you post us a pic?
-Also, where does the trubo kick in? at 4k? Where do you feel your getting the most power?
-im interested in turbos but I want to get more lowend power so its good for everyday driving...(im guessing around 1500rpm-4000rpm)? Will this kit give you lots of power (hp/torque) around that power band?

thanks and keep us updated with your trubo..

how much all in all? around $4000USD? How much would it be to get someone to install it?

What are the pro/cons on getting used Turbo Kits? Is the FMAX good? or DRAG Gen4?

thanks!!!
ok, i would get used kit and just rebuild the turbo and call it a day...as you can see, my kit was drag4, but i have pretty much swapped their parts for others which i thought to be better, such as oil return, wastegate, and fuel management...
used turbo would be nice, only thing you have to worry about is turbo, bov, wastegate, and gaskets...
with used kit, you would need bunch of new gaskets (www.cheapturbo.com sells them), and you should check for shaft play/wobble in the turbo, and diaphragm of the wastegate and bov...and make sure that each component is functional...

as for my car, i haven't dyno'd it, but it is crazy expensive for dyno...i'm planning on going when i get my next paycheck which is in about a week...
being a 50trim turbo, mine doesn't take all day to spool, i have my vafc set to engage vtec at 3300 and i'm pretty much done spooling by then...rolling from 2nd gear, when i smash the gas, turbo spool is complete by 3000-3200rpm...

so...to summarize the car's characteristics:

below 3200rpm -> same as stock pretty much
3100-5000 -> much harder pull
5000-redline -> pulls lil less than 3100-5000, but still pulls considerably faster than stock configuration...

i honestly think i can take mild i/h/e preludes without a single doubt and a question...also, my figures may be off since it's really hard to concentrate on odometer and the road at the same time...

about the drag vs. fmax...

well, i would say neither...
but let me break it down by categories from what i know:

turbo: (no clear winner here)
you never know which trim of turbo you're gonna get from both manufacturers...they always just say t3/t04e

piping: (drag)
drag - bling bling factor comes into play here...some ppl have said that drag piping doesn't fit right, but in my case, they fit without any problems...

intercooler: (no clear winner here)
both are spearco core intercoolers...

oil feed/return: (neither)
from what i have seen, oil feed on both kit are good, but as far as oil return is concerned, go with aeroquip or earl's ss braided line, hose ends, etc...

wastegate: (neither)
forget deltagate supplied by both companies...pay extra and get tial wastegate...

bov: (neither)
whichever sound you prefer...

fuel management: (questionable)
fuel management is very important to FI honda...both companies have their own ways...
i suggest you do some research and get some decent standalone...don't waste $$ on afc hack, emanage, etc...if i didn't already have afc installed on my car, i would have never gone for afc hack...i would have opted for hondata or aem ems...but since hondata's application chart doesn't include my car, i couldn't get hondata which would have been my 1st choice, i guess i have to go for aem ems eventually...

thanks for all the props...i hope i answered most of your questions...
