if i'm not mistaken with the part #s, the e2427 is a direct drop-in. the ru2820 needs to be modified (you have to tear apart the stock filter and attach its base to the ru2820 so that it will work).
That's exactly what I was looking for.......thanks I knew that there needed to be something different. Is it hard to do this adaptation? Other than that will the filters perform the same?
