With $5000? Buy a y8 intake manifold, head and transmission for say... $100. Strap them on, throw in some rods and high comp pistons. Hytech header and exhaust, custom 3" aluminum intake. GSR throttle body, portmatch manifold. Cams, springs, retainers.
Add engine management, stir, and serve warm.
