but what could you do to the internals? The only aftermarket for the y7 is intakes and exhausts. They don't even make headers for the damn thing, but you could always throw an ex header/catback. But the catback would have to be custom, since its a hatchback.
with the money spent on rods, pistons, cams, etc. he could just get a y8 and get the same amount of power with stock internals and a bit of boost/juice. How much shot can the ex engines handle stock, anyways?
I told the dumbass he would be better off with a new engine, but whatever. Actually, the more I think of it, I just wasted a thread and everyones time, since its probably never going to happen.
