A little while ago my 'Brake Lamp' warning light lit up on my dash. My left brake light no longer lights up when I hit the brakes...

the wierd part is that the bulb does light up when i turn on the parking lights/headlights (or when the lights flash when I unlock/lock the doors with the remote). So the bulb isn't completely burned out because it still lights up, it just doesn't get brighter when I push the brakes.

What could be the problem? I tried looking at the fuses but I couldn't find any that were specific to the brake lights, let alone specific to just the left lamp (the right one still works). Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a 98 5speed.
