stock hood replacements run about 300-600 bucks. depending if you get OEM hoods or OEM replacement hoods.
its a good chance to get a carbon fiber hood to lighten things up. they run about 350 nowadays, and if you dont like the CF look, paint it to match the rest of the car
it will still be cheaper than 1000.
