No, most people don't know whats up with the inner city and how people live. It's drastically different than in the suburbs. When I drive my house in an upper class neighborhood to my cousins who lives in the projects, its like I'm in a new world, and I'm sure that most white kids who listen to rap would be scared as hell to come out there. Now however with rap, the sheltered suburban kids think they can relate and that they are thugs but thats not true at all. People won't know how bad inner city life is just through music, theyre going to have to learn first hand.
