well, some people are really hesistant to opening up. i know some people who are very reluctant to opening up to me. what i sense is that they want to figure me out as much as possible before placing their trust in me. bottom line -> each person has their own way of placing trust in other people.
as for girls, basically i think they'd look for the insecurity in a guy before they really got to know him. because if a guy is initially nice, it doesn't really look good. my friend jess says that girls dont want "pushovers" - they want to know who a guy is and what he stands and believes in. however, once a couple gets past that initial phase, well then they can talk about whatever feelings they have.
