If you're going to be swapping the pistons out, you might as well go with some forged ones to lower the C/R. While you're at it, you might as well get some forged rods as well. JE, Wiseco, and Arias all make very nice forged pistons in a range of C/R's. Crower, Manley, and Pauter all make very strong rods, although they are a bit pricey. A cost-effective rod that is still many times stronger than stock would be the Eagle rods. They are also available with an ARP custom age rod bolt upgrade which ups the size of the rod bolts for extra strength.. In stock form, the Eagles come with ARP2000 bolts, which are fine for milder setups. Depend on how hard you'll be running the setup, you may want to get the block resleeved while you have it torn down. I would say anything over about 14-15lbs of boost, you should probably look into some new sleeves.
