With better competition now than there ever has been in the "hot hatch" market I feel that Honda/Acura is sorely behind. Now almost every manufacturer has a performance-oriented compact (SE-R, Mazdaspeed Protege, SRT-4, SVT, etc...) that is at least as good as the Si, if not better, in the same price range. Ideally if Honda wants to be seen as credible it should bring the Civic Type-R over as our Si (since Acura will probably be the only brand here to use the Type-S/R designations) and then bring the Integra Type-R as our RSX Type-S, but keep all the luxury features as options. Keep prices relatively the same and you'll prevent product overlap. Problem solved.
