its illegal for him to withhold earnings for something like that. He has to prove, in a court of law, that you knew something was wrong with the motor that would lead to its demise, and sold it to him without warning of it.

That's the thing he just let me use the car whenever I wanted and then my uncle needed and so I signed a paper and it said, I am no longer responsible for this car and directed it towards my dad or my uncle and then signed it.
