My first summer up there I met Kevin Johnson, he was up checking on a project he was spearheading, the HOPE foundation. Construction was going on for the bldg at the intersection of 17th and MLK and he was just checking it out and I was coming back from the liquor store right there on MLK and seen him and got his autograph
