I think they're trying to hose me and sell me new speakers ($300+). F them. I spoke with another shop and he said they do deep speakers in those doors all the time. It sounds like they'll trim out the panel like you did. I hate to have to pay to have someone install my stuff. but I did my last install and the weekend project took 3 months... with 2 kids, a wife who doesn't understand why I need such a system and work, I don't have the time or the patience to do this install... I'm looking at the ADS AL5s in the doors and tweeters on the dash, ADS6.2 Mids in the rear with x-over and tweeters from ADS200i seperates. These will be driven by an ADS PH15 (6x50) with 100/side to the front and 50/side to the rear. (2) 12" RF subs in a sealed box out back with an amp yet to be decided. Looking at a Kicker 600.1 or a JL 500/1. I've been outta the loop for a while. Any recommendations on what sub amps to consider? 200-250 watts per ch. at 2 ohms.
