i know check engine lights are a common problem but i have it now.

i just installed a new racing cat and CAI on my 02'gsr and the check engine light has been coming on every once in a while. my friend told me it might be the CAI if theres a problem with too much air going in. any advice and help, cuz so far i just disconnect the battery and it goes away for a while, and i dont want to keep doing this over and over.
