the way i do it is wrap it with a towel around the strut and around the top only exposing the nut. haha exposing the nut...lol

way easier than using a spring compressor.

time per strut with hand tools and towel about 1-4 minutes

time per strut with hand tools and spring compressor about 15-25 minutes.
