I'm looking to replace the stock speakers in my 2001 EX V6. It's got the seperates in the front doors. Does anyone know the depth I can get away with for the mid-bass drivers in the stock location? I'd like to keep the factory grills to keep the install stealth. I've got a great set of ADS AL5's that I'd like to install but a local shop tells me they're too deep (2 5/8 "). They're trying to sell me some MB Quart RCE213's.
Can I use the AL5's or do I have to suck it up and buy a new set?
