personally i think you should go back to the sound shop you got them from. as soon as they tell you that you need a fan tell the guy that the amp shouldn't be heating up like that in the first place to warrant getting a fan. i know for a fact that phoenix gold amps are not supposed to get hot at all. if the guy gives you any lip as to speak to his manager. basically the bigger an asshole you are the more likely they'll fix your **** just to get you out of the store. people complaining about poor service with customers around is bad for business.
