which is the best flowing of the readily available heads? i'm not goign to buy a type R head there just to damn expencive
well for the "stock" heads, type R is the best.
what you can do is get a gsr head, have it ported, and buy an aftermarket intake manifold (like skunk2, edelbrock, etc)

so far i'm looking at a b18 or b20 block and possibly a GSR head. also what kinda computers are you guys running, i'd like to put redline somewhere around 8500 or higher if possible i'd be going into heavy modifications with the head
you'll prolly have some reliability issues w/ ls/vtec or b20/vtec if you want to go past 8400 rpm. i'd say stick w/ the gsr block/head combo, rod ratio is definately better there coz it looks like you'll be running some really aggressive cams.
if you want to go all out on the ecm, get the Aem ems or hondata... pricey
tranny, i have a type R tranny w/ lsd.. my 60 fts are better compared to my old gsr setup. also, what kind of gearing do you prefer, short/long? they differ.
