Yet another story of bad Acura dealers. Honestly, what is WITH those people? I called the one local to me, Rosenthal Acura, a little over a year ago about changing the timing belt on my 92 GSR... they were very unfriendly, and suggested that I drop the car off for a WEEK, and come back. No loaner offered, and their quote was just over a thousand "because we only use Acura parts," and they also suggested I trade it in for a newer Integra they had "which was better on maintanence than those older Integras." ... so, what, every time it's time to change the timing belt, BAM, buy a new one? They made it sound like the timing belt on the B17 was in mortal danger every 20K or 30K or something - as if the belts were made from shoelace... seriously, what terrible businessmen they were, even over the phone.
