would someone take my intake and shove it up my ass? omg. 2 days ago i installed an AEM intake (replacing my old generic short ram intake) on my 1998 v6 accord coupe. don't get me wrong, i love this intake. but damn. today when i was at in-n-out i was waiting for my food and my temperature meter shot up 3/4 of the way!!!

WTF. so i shifted to neutral and revved the engine, and then the meter went back to a little below half way[normal] wtf. do you think its just some water stuck in the air filter that's struggling to get air to the engine[since i was just waiting for my food, and my car was idling]. is that the reason for the engine overheating??

this has happend to me before, but with my old intake. i finally figured out that my thermostat was crapping out on me so i replaced it and did not have any further problems until today.

i replaced my thermostat about 2 months ago, and i HIGHLY doubt that it is the thermostat crapping out on me again. i checked my antifreeze and radiator, they're in ship shape condition. i don't understand why this crap is haunting me again.

can anyone give any suggestions what is going on here?
