I beat the shit out of my car and it's been involved in three accidents in the past 3/4 years. I have near 50k miles now and sure, it rattles a little in the back when the subs are on, but its holding up pretty damn well except for the tranny that i'm purposely trying to kill.

maybe you should abuse it more. you will appreciate the amount it can take without falling apart. and yes, youre supposed to floor it once in a while. it's a high-rev engine and sediments will grow over the lobes if you dont run the vtec once in a while.

i've had my share of fords in the past because this was the second non-american, non-german car we've bought and it's lasted over two years. most our cars last two years until we sell it for a new one.

i'm lovin' my accord. and i can almost bet anybody i take just as much care if not more than everybody else (the body at least).
