You can try local auctions around your area. If you dont mind getting a salvaged one and fixing it up you can get really good deals on the seized and totaled out cars at auction. Autotrader is also a very good source but don't neglect the others such as Usedcars.com. Because they dont recieve as much attention you never know what you might find that could have gone un noticed by others. Do some seriouse research and dont settle on the first one you see. Be patient. It sometimes takes time to find the perfect car for you.
