I usually up the weight as I go also. I think its the same pyramid technique like you're talking about. But now I lift like 10 lbs more than normal and only do 6-7 reps of it. I am actually doing like 7-8 reps at the end with 175 lbs which is about the most I've ever been able to do. I'd like to crack the 200 lb barrier in the next month or so
