How many grams of protein are you taking a day? I take about 120 grams plus whatever I can consume in food. Genetics may be taking over. I'd just try to keep upping the weight everytime you workout and do less reps. Do 6-8 reps with more weight than usual instead of trying to do 10 reps with less weight
i'd say around 150g a day.
usually i lift with the 'pyramid' technique....first set light x 12 reps, ending up at a heavy set with 5-6 reps.
btw, just for kicks...no one in the older generations of my family have been taller than 5'7, and they've all been small. but i'll still try my best to overcome genetic limitations
