I wish I had the money to debate getting rid of my 99 EX V-6 coupe because I would LOVE to get rid of it; it feels used, warped, loose and it has lost its styling novelty, even with all the OEM pieces -- the rear wing, under body kit, fogs, tint, red paint....NO ONE looks at her anymore, and because of the winter we had here in the northeast, her paint is beginning to go....but oh how I digress; I have NO funds right now for getting rid of my Accord, even if it was for the new one; the car is under my father's name, and my parents live in Nevada, and they are kinda strapped for cash with my dad's retirement funds---and their two cars, a 97 Accord Special Edition sedan and a 97 Mercedes E320, both need replacing sooner or later, so the chances of them helping me out to get a new vehicle are extremely slim; their argument to me is, "your damn car only has 39,000 miles on it! Its not anywhere near ready to be traded!" Their Benz has 70,000 something miles and the Accord has 50 or 60K, I dont remember....my job totally sucks, I make no money and live in an expensive studio apartment that sucks all my income in like a vaccum---rent, phone, electric, cable....it sucks. Because of these factors, I cant look at a new car at all.
My first choice? Wouldnt be the 03 Accords---first, I dont really like the coupe or sedan, second, I feel like been there, done that...my first choice would be the Chrysler 300M (I want a four door sedan next time around, no more coupes at nearly 30 years old!)...but that friggin thing loaded is like 35 grand! I could look into any luxury car for that matter at that point---the Beemer 3 series sedan, the Acura TL or perhaps the new TSX; I dont know if the 300M warrants the price---but I know I want a BIG, ROOMY, STRETCHED sedan---something along the lines of the Chrysler 300M or Concorde, or perhaps the new Pontiac Grand Prix or Bonneville; I am tired of the cramped feel and exterior dimensions of these imports.....
Just my .02.....
