edit: I believe if anyone "created" peopel, it wasn't any god. I'm sorta into the idea that this planet was "seeded", if you will by extra-terrestrials. I mean, all of a sudden, the spark of life. Anyone see Mission to Mars? That part made me feel better since there are other crazies like me around 
And at the time when the first people saw these aliens they thought of them as all powerful beings, maybe gods....
i believe some entity created the universe...then the rest is history (evolution)
