I have a 90 Accord and a year ago I went through this, Midas tried to sell me a rackand pinion for 1300 bucks, so instead I went to my mechanic and he said it was my ball joints or control arm, I changed these two things myself with a good outcome, I wouldnt recomend do yourself unless your good with tools. Anyway what it ended up really being was a simple bolt with washers and spacers that ties the wheel to the (im not sure what it was exactly now! but you can easily see it and it really is simple to replace with a jack, it only cost about 12 at the auto store, and it really worked. THe old one was missing a rubber spacer, and was bent bad, Good luck.
