I find it highly ironic to see someone who was beating the drum for war, saying that we couldn't take the time for the UN to do its job, flip-flop and say that it's just a matter of time.

The problem with the "matter of time" excuse is that it belies the Bush administration's claim that they knew 100% for sure that Iraq had WMD, and knew exactly where the are. We all saw the pictures. If there really was a cache of WMD, wouldn't that be the first thing that our troops would secure? The fact that it's been two whole months, and the alleged "smoking gun" has not been revealed, means that there is no smoking gun. They're going on a fishing trip. I'm sure they'll "find" something eventually. But since we were lied to once, how do we know that it wasn't just planted there?

There were also other reasons you fail to aknowledge for us to go to war with Iraq and get rid of Saddam Hussein and his regime. WMD was only one reason.
I failed? Try again. I haven't been asked to acknowledge anything, and since the topic of this thread is the same as what I did talk about, I'm not concealing anything. I think by this time you know why you're resorting to the ad-hom attacks. You're wrong, but will not admit it.

And before you go off on an impeachment tangent with severely circumstantial and hersay evidence concocted into a left wing conspiracy theory there are HUGE differences between Bill Clinton blatantly lying to the American people and Congress as opposed to Colin Powell saying we have a smoking gun at the UN.
Yes, there is a HUGE difference. Republican members of Congress made allegations against Clinton that they failed to prove, so they entrapped him, using evidence obtained through criminal means. So yes, Clinton crossed the line between self-defense, which every American citizen has a right to, and telling a slight falsehood about his personal life, which Congress has no right to meddle into in the first place. Bush lied outright in pursuit of his war agenda. People died as a result of what Bush did.

Clinton was impeached? I must've missed that one, you almost had an intelligent statement.
Pot, kettle, black. You're the one who can't seem to recall what happened less than 4 years ago.

Thank god your views are not in the majority or else we would have a fascist dictatorship.
Oh really? Please tell me exactly how that would work.

Bush has done nothing but bring respect back to the White House, keep his word, and effectively hold this country together tighter than ever.
So you say. I have evidence to the contrary.

The chemicals will be found. There was proof back in 1998, there was proof in Feb. of this year, and there will be chemicals found.
If there is so much proof, please explain why that proof has magically vanished with the US military in country?

As for Bush being a criminal, that's the most pathetic, cheap skate accusation I've ever heard.
OK, so you can do some name-calling. But exactly how does calling Bush's actions into question make me a miser? Sounds like you don't have your head screwed on straight...
