The best thing would be to upgrade the struts/shocks when you change the springs out. I actually rode on the stock shocks/struts for about 30K miles with my H&R SPORTS, had no problems. I put the springs on with about 35K miles on the car, now it has 61K and still the stock shocks. If you go for RACE springs...you'll blow the stocks quicker. I'd say go straight to aftermarket performance shocks/struts.

I just bought Koni Yellow Adjustable shocks/struts. They are one of the better (and many people think best) shocks/struts for our cars. Pretty expensive, but worth it IMO.
