I personally would go with 600 grit first, then finish with either 1000 or 1200 grit, then use the Novus Polish Step 1, or Meguiars, something weak like that that really puts a nice shine and protective layer on them. When I take off my bumper to install the fogs, I may go ahead and do this... who knows.
