I used Novus 3 Stage polish on my headlights... and actually had to use the third stage they were so bad. It worked pretty well but I think the best way to go is with Wet-sanding.

All in all I couldn't get all of the deep scratches/pits out, but it made them much more transparent and got rid of all the million tiny scratches. Now they are shiny
