A lot of folks will recommend AEM pads, but those are basically an improved OEM replacement pad. I've used Axxis Ultimates for the past 6 months or so and they're a great street pad that also work well for light track/autocross duty. They do dust more than almost any other pad on the market out there, but the dust is pretty simple to remove (rinse and wipe). They do have a bit more bite than the Hawks HPS (another pad people will recommend), but I've found that the Hawks brake dust is much, much tougher to get off.

If you're looking for a pretty decent "performance" pad, I would recommend trying the Axxis Ultimates. Once you go with higher performance pads your cold bite will suffer (dangerous for the street), and you'll eat your rotors a bit faster.
