I have seen a few Civics with Race springs with and without cutting the bumpstops (before and after). Cutting the bumpstops lowered the cars a little.
so like I said, cutting the bumpstops doesn't lower the ride height, it just allows more travel of the rod in the shock. a bumpstop is what they put on to keep ur suspension from bottoming out
