A compression test will just give you compression numbers, but a leakdown test will give you the location of your loss of psi's, my car came up with 180, 180, 145, 175. I replaced the headgasket and am not burning oil , and the plugs are clean, i think its the valves, im praying its the valves, a leakdowntest will show the true culprit though
