Some do, some don't. Actually, most do, and very few don't. They are highly rated as guard dogs for that reason though, but they definately bark worse then they bite. I want a Shih Tzu and a Dobermann. One little tiny toy dog and one big home defense dog. Train the Shih Tzu to bark, and the Dobermann to not, so when someone breaks in thinking I have one wussy dog... they'd be in for a nasty suprise.

Besides that, it would just confuse people to walk them both together. Odd Couple style. I wonder what a Shih Tzu/Dobermann mix would be like?:naughty:
