I fully intend to get a compression test before i do anything, but right now, if i can manage to get a decent job, i think this will be a cool summer project. Let me know what you all think, thanks.
As far as I know, the ghetto-rig way of testing your compression is pulling a spark plug wire off while the car is running, if you hear a decrease in idle, then its getting a proper seal. Then move on to the next.
As far as 1000-1500, wow, that is kinda tight... don't know how to help you there. But while you getting the eclipse turbo, take the manifold too, I've read it can be easily adapted.
Now, anyone else gonna help us? I am in the market for a custom setup too. Except I want a more advanced setup, BOV, Intercooler, and external wastegate.
