SAFC Throttle meter readings?!?!?!
Ok. I'm a newb here and this seemed the logical place to post this question. I have a 91 CRX Si with a 92 DOHC ZC motor. I am using my stock pm6 ECU and got an SAFC to use for the air fuel correction. I have a turbo settup in the works and wanted to go ahead and get the SAFC to help out my current situation and use it with the turbo. Any way on to my question. With the car off but the key in the run position every thing registors perfect. I have like .45 volts at closed throttle and 4.56 at full throttle. Well once the car is running the voltage fluctuates something awefull. If i am at closed or wide open it will generally hold but anything in the middle itsbouncin all over the place. On a % scale it varies about 10-15%below the throttle position. For example at like 15% open throttle it will bounce eraticly from say 15% down to 0% to ~.8% i mean its all over the place. When monotoring it dosnt give voltage it only gives a % of throttle position but i know the voltage must be due to the fact thats how this thing reads throttle position. Yesterday it wouldnt even read 100% at WOT it would only read 95%. I turned the car off and it would read 100%. Is it normal for voltage to fluctuate like this? If not do you guys think it would be an issue with the SAFC or something to do with my electrical system? Like i said it only fluctuates with the car running. I need to get this takin care of if its an issue before i actually start tunning it on the Dyno. With it in the run position and the car turned off it's readings are exact. Thanx for the help.
